The Lemon Table
In this editorial we explored citrus as both palette and metaphor. The lemon became more than a fruit, a symbol of radiance, vitality, and everyday joy.
The tablescape was imagined as a still life, balancing bright yellow blooms with the tactile simplicity of wicker and glass. Mimosa and orchids mirrored the citrus tones, while fresh lemons anchored the design with playful abundance. The process was guided by a search for harmony, arranging, layering, and refining until spontaneity and intention felt in balance.
From the hand-tied name tags to the layered menus edged in yellow, each detail was created to connect object and atmosphere. This was not decoration alone but an exploration of how color and form can evoke emotion.
This project reflects VIDDA’s belief that beauty lives in both the grand and the familiar. By reimagining something as simple as a lemon, we sought to show how design transforms the ordinary into narrative and shapes the artistry behind every celebration.
