Duration: 20 minutes pottery making experience + 10 minutes preparation and cleaning time
Workshop contents:
- Learning how to do wheel throwing
- Understanding about the history of pottery
- Learning to shape simple bowls, cups, plates, etc.
You will be able to choose to make a cup, a bowl or a plate at the beginning of the workshop.
Please be noted that this a purely express workshop for you to get a try on doing wheel throwing under the guidance of teachers from MEL CERAMIC. At the end of the class, the shaped clay pottery IS NOT the final product that you can use because this workshop won't cover the following process of making pottery, such as the application of glaze and firing, since our teachers would like to provide you a simple experience to try wheel throwing. However, you are more than welcome to tell the teachers that you want to get their help to finish your handmade pottery after the workshop and collect the finished pottery from the studio of MEL CERAMIC.
